Who We Are?
CSW Sport is the name given to our County Sports Partnership (CSP), one of six sub regional CSPs within the West Midlands and one of forty-nine across England. A collection of organisations working together to provide opportunities for people to participate in sport and physical activity.
Sport England invests in CSPs to deliver services for national governing bodies, to support their work with local government and with children and young people, and to deliver on their key legacy programmes Sportivate and Sport Makers. These are part of Sport England's mass participation sporting legacy from the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Places People Play.
The Partnership covers the Sub-Region of Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire and is made up of organisations which include seven Local Authorities, School Sports Partnerships, National Governing Bodies of Sport, Volunteer Sectors and the Youth Sport Trust. CSW Sport is co-ordinated by a Core Team of Staff whose role is to develop, co-ordinate and promote sporting opportunities throughout the Sub-Region.
