	Coventry Ambassadors scheme set for go ahead Coventry Ambassadors – one of the success stories of last year’s Olympics – look set to flourish if councillors give their backing to an innovative new scheme. Coventry City Council's Cabinet is being asked to support a proposal which will see Coventry University set up a new social enterprise - a not for profit business - which will continue to train, develop and support Coventry Ambassadors to welcome visitors to the city at major events. 	Sport England - Reminders Inspired Facilities - Round 4 opened 11 March and closes at 5pm on 29 April 2013 Community Sport Activation Fund - Round 2 opens on 7 May and closes on 1 July 2013 Protecting Playing Fields - Round 5 opens 10 June and closes 5 August 2013 Local Sport Profiles - UPDATED The profiles include a breakdown of the costs by specific disease categories, such as diabetes, which have a relation to physical inactivity. 	Sport England gives £24 million boost Hundreds of thousands more young people are to benefit from the sporting legacy after Sport England announced an extra £24 million to expand and extend its successful Sportivate programme. The National Lottery funding means Sportivate can continue helping 14- to 25-year-olds to get involved in sports from judo and tennis to wakeboarding and parkour until 2017. 	CSW Sport Coach Bursary Scheme PLEASE NOTE: A new round of bursaries will be launched on 18 April and there will also be new guidelines and forms therefore any applications prior to this date will not be accepted.
