The Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) helps employers make safer recruitment decisions and prevent unsuitable people from working with vulnerable groups, including children. It replaces the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) and Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA).

9th Annual Sports Awards Nominate Now!

Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire Sports Awards is returning to Solihull for a second year and will be held at the St John’s Hotel on Thursday 7th November 2013.

The Sports Awards is a celebration of sporting achievement and excellence, honouring sports people across the sub region. Members of the public are able to nominate and vote for teams and individuals in fifteen different categories including Sportsman of the Year, Sportswoman of the Year, Team of the Year, Unsung Hero and the Community Sports Award.

New Workshop Programme

We offer a number of workshops which aim to support coaches, clubs and volunteers and which are delivered by fully accredited tutors.  These workshops are heavily subsidised and so provide value for money.
We have places still available on our Safeguarding and Protecting children workshop at Stratford-upon-Avon on the 26th June 2013.

National Get Britain Bouncing Day -

will take place nationwide at clubs, schools, companies and in people’s back gardens on Thursday, June 27 during Cystic Fibrosis Week.

The event is an awareness day to highlight the many physical and emotional benefits of trampolining
but people are being encouraged to raise money on the day for the CF Trust through a £1 donation from everyone taking part.

Lashings of Cricket in Coventry This Summer -

Corley Cricket Club are delighted to announce that in the summer of 2013 Corley will be hosting a range of ex-international players including; Devon Malcolm, Dominic Cork, and Saqlain Mushtaq.
Over 200 people are expected to attend which means Corley have an exciting 2013 season ahead to plan for.
