	England Hockey - Give it a Go this summer Bigger and better for 2013, Give it a Go will run from 27 July until 9 September. And everyone’s invited! Give it a Go sessions will provide anyone, regardless of age, ability, previous hockey experience or location, the opportunity to pick up a stick and give hockey a go. It will also provide a great opportunity to recruit and deploy volunteers into grassroots hockey. Click here for information
	Major Boost for School Sport Sport England welcomed the announcement on 16 March by the Prime Minister of £150 million a year investment into primary schools sport. The investment will see every state primary school in England getting funding over the next two years to spend specifically on improving the quality and quantity of physical education and sport. In addition Ofsted inspectors will now pay greater attention to physical education and sport when they visit schools. Read full article courtesy of Sport England

	30th Knowle Fun Run Knowle and Dorridge Lions are pleased to announce Nick Owen will get the runners underway and award prizes at this year’s special 30th Knowle Fun Run on Sunday 12th May.
