Are looking for an A.S.A. Level 2 to work part-time, in Solihull - Monday, Thursday and or Wednesday starting the end of March through to July and then again September to half term October

British Cycling are looking for confident recreational cyclists to train as Ride Leaders and Route Planners.  You don’t need to be a cycling expert, just be confident riding in groups and have heaps of enthusiasm.

The Jubilee St Augustines Badminton club has been selected to participate in the pilot Club England Evolution initiative which will see BADMINTON England work even closer with the thriving club network this country has to offer.
30 badminton clubs of varying size and structure, representing 24 different counties, have been selected from over 60 applications to form part of the pilot.

Protecting Playing Fields Funding Round 4 Opens

Communities across the country can today start bidding for a share of £2 million of National Lottery investment to protect and improve their local sports playing fields.
Round 4 opened on 10 December 2012 and will close on 18 February 2013
Round 5 will open on 10 June 2013 and close on 5 August 2013.

Bradley Wiggins wins BBC Sports Personality of the Year

Bradley Wiggins has been voted the 2012 BBC Sports Personality of the Year.

The Tour de France and Olympic time trial champion, 32, beat 11 other contenders to the prestigious title.

Olympic heptathlon champion Jessica Ennis was runner-up while US Open winner Andy Murray was third.

Josef Craig wins BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year

Teenage swimmer Josef Craig is the BBC's Young Sports Personality of the Year after becoming Britain's youngest gold medallist at the 2012 Paralympics.

The 15-year-old won the S7 400m freestyle final in a new world record, knocking nearly two seconds off the previous best.

Young sports coaches hone their skills for the future

As many Olympians will testify a good coach can have a huge impact on sporting performance and success.
You might assume that becoming one requires decades of experience but there is currently a big drive to get more young people to take up coaching.
This weekend 200 young coaches will hone their skills at a special academy in Loughborough.
